to Work?
Aedis Urban is a proud partner and Community Champion of SA Ready to Work, an educational and job placement program to help San Antonio residents improve their quality of life. This one-of-a-kind program connects San Antonians to education and quality jobs - and, ultimately, well-paid careers that can sustain their families.
What does Ready to Work do?

Provides participants with a personal Ready to Work coach that is committed to their success

Gets to know participants and understands their specific situations

Provides guidance and resources throughout the process

Guides participants through career and education exploration and planning

Offers a variety of programs, including high school equivalency, certification courses, Associate degree courses, and Bachelor degree courses

Helps participants enroll in approved courses

Connects participants with tuition assistance and funds for urgent needs

Helps participants secure and retain well-paid jobs

Ready to Work identifies +

A growing network of job training programs and service providers offers eligible participants the opportunity to upskill and access higher-paying jobs. Through community partnerships, resources like food assistance, expunctions, travel assistance, childcare, and more are available to help participants overcome the barriers to completing their training..
Eligibility Criteria

18 years or older when applying for the program

Permitted to work in the US

Annual household income is less than 250% of the federal poverty guidelines

Willing to take assessments related to barriers, academics, skills aptitude, and workplace readiness

Committed to completing the program

Not currently enrolled in college
